Homeless Persons' Week 2014
Monday 4 - Sunday 10 August 2014
Homeless Persons' Week 2014 - Homelessness: we can't afford to ignore it made a great contribution to raising public awareness of the devastating effects of homelessness, and the vital work carried out by the nation's 1300 homelessness services. HA conducted over 30 TV, radio and press interviews during HPW and more than 120 events were held across Australia.
Homeless Persons' Week 2014 was launched in Melbourne by the Minister for Social Services. At the launch Minister Andrews discussed the findings of the Journeys Home Wave 4 Research Report, which was released that week. Thank you to everyone who supported HPW2014. Homelessness: we can't afford to ignore it
