Violence : the leading cause of homelessness for women. Pets are often forgotten when emergency food is provided to vulnerable people. SPSF is committed to changing this and making sure their bowls are full too. SPSF provides food to many charities so people in need can feed their pets.

Since 2009, the South Australian community has come together every August, during National Homelessness Week, to take part in Hutt St Centre's Walk a Mile in My Boots challenge. It's an opportunity to step out and raise vital funds to support people at risk of or experiencing homelessness.
