Homeless Link Up

A free event for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.

Hosted by the Casuarina Library on Tuesday 8 August from 9am till 12pm

There will be a free BBQ, hair cuts, clothing vouchers and care packs available.
Local non government services will be there to support people in connecting up to services and programs.
Staff from Territory Families Housing and Communities will be available to answer any questions about your housing application.
A representative from Services Australia will be available to help with any of those difficult Centrelink issues.
Darwin Community Legal Services will be available to offer legal advice.
Representatives from the Homeless Response Group will be available to help people connect with wraparound services.

o The Salvation Army

o Services Australia including Centrelink team, Birth Deaths and Marriages, and Medicare
o Catholic care
o CoCoon SDA Care
o Team health
o NT Shelter
o Integrated Disability Action
o Catholic Care NT

As well as services people are able to
o Have an free eye test with Deadly Vision Centre
o Get a free haircut with Diamond Barbers
o Receive care packs and clothing vouchers
o Have a feed – BBQ, fruit, morning tea, tea, coffee
