Every year those who are experiencing homelessness pass away. Some die while receiving homelessness services but many pass away while sleeping rough or living in unsafe accommodation.
This multi faith memorial service hosted by Bishop Charles the catholic bishop of the Northern Territory is for the community to remember those who have died while experiencing homelessness by putting a “face” to the statistics
The service will also recognise those who continue to face homelessness and to offer support for those who care for and support them.
All are invited to join our community leaders at 3:30pm on Thursday 6th August at the St Mary’s Star of the Sea Cathedral.
