Hope In Every Step!
Ruby’s invites you to be part of the 9th annual community march for Homelessness Week! Every step raises awareness, compassion, and hope. Together we walk to support those affected by homelessness in our community and champion action for change.
Wednesday August 5th
11:45am for a 12pm start
@ Vansittart Park
We will walk from the rotunda on the corner of Wehl St North and Commercial St West to the Mount Gambier Library, where One Forty One will be providing a sausage sizzle!
We ask you to join us and consider bringing a pair of new or near new shoes to donate to those in need in our community. All types and sizes of shoes in great condition are welcome. With each step we show our support to those living without secure and safe housing. With each pair of shoes donated, we provide real support to those in need.
In the weeks leading up to Hope In Every Step, collection points to donate shoes can be found at:

Mount Gambier Library @ 6 Watson Terrace

What is Ruby’s?
Ruby’s work alongside families to help bring them together when they are experiencing relationship difficulties or conflict at home.
Ruby’s can also provide a safe place to sleep for young people aged 12-17.
