Lookout for Homelessness

Join us to reflect on those members of the community who don’t have a place to call home. Take part in a community walk to the top of the Oxley Scenic Lookout, followed by watching the sun set on homelessness on Friday 9th August 2024.

Schedule:
Oxley Scenic Lookout – Tamworth NSW 2340
3:45pm – Gather at the base of the Oxley Scenic Lookout
4:00pm – Walk approximately 1.2km to the top of the Oxley Scenic Lookout
4:30pm – Gather as a group and begin walking back to the base of the Oxley Scenic Lookout

ANZAC Park – Fitzroy Street Tamworth NSW 2340
5:15pm – Gather at ANZAC Park
5:30pm – Guest speakers and light refreshments

About the Organisers:
This event has been put together by a variety of Specialists Homelessness Workers in Tamworth NSW 2340 who wish to raise awareness of the high influx of homelessness rates we are experiencing and work toward a better tomorrow where everyone has a right to a home.
