Outer Gippsland
CHL – CHVL Bairnsdale will have a morning tea from Monday-Friday during Homelessness Week. We’ve got stress houses, pens, stickers, CHL logo cookies and lots of snacks. The GHN Fact Poster will be displayed and open up the conversation about homelessness in our region.
Gippsland Lakes Complete Health – Housing and Support Team have visited local schools to increase student awareness of homelessness, discussed local and broader issues. Students folded origami houses.
Interview on local radio to discuss Homelessness in the area which will air on REGFM on Wednesday 7 August and Friday 9 August at 10:30am.
GEGAC – A display at GEGAC Corporate centre in Bairnsdale township
Orbost Regional Health – Have developed Far East Gippsland Housing Support, a factsheet comparing 2022-23 with 2023 – 2024 data
Uniting Sale – Uniting will be at the Gippsland Centre (Sale) on 9th of August 10.30 – 4 pm – raising awareness of homelessness and folding origami houses
