Shifting Perceptions: Art from the Streets

All works on display are from artists who have a lived experience of homelessness, are currently rough sleepers or are living with a mental illness. Many are women. Many have been battered by life from events such as family and domestic violence, have had little or no options for refuge or support and due to life circumstances, have low self-esteem.

The Ruah Art Group provides social interaction and a way for people to provide support to each other. Artworks have been created by members of Ruah Art Group and can be purchased on site, with 100% of all sales going directly to the artist(s).

The exhibition is open daily 10am – 4pm.
