Housing First

Housing First

Housing First has been adopted internationally as best practice for providing sustainable housing for people who have experienced long term or repeated homelessness. Underpinning the Housing First model is a clear set of principles that outline the approaches and core values for delivering successful Housing First programs.

This page includes resources to explain Housing First approaches, including how the model has been adapted for an Australian context

Homelessness Australia also hosts the Housing First Train the Trainer program, working with the Housing First Europe Hub.
