Homelessness Week Dignity Packing Event

Wyndham Donation Drive

In the lead up to this year’s Homelessness Week (Monday 3 – Sunday 9 August), Wyndham Community Centres and Libraries are coordinating an annual Donation Drive from June to August to collect long-life food and personal care items for those in need.

Help make a difference. The items below can be donated and will be distributed locally in emergency relief dignity packs.

Items can include:

• Personal care items and toiletries such as toothbrushes, moisturiser, soap and sanitary items
• Blankets, new socks and underwear
• Long life food, canned food, dry goods

Collecting donations from 1 June to 31 July at Wyndham Community Centres and Libraries.

These items will be turned into dignity packs at a special Dignity Packing Event on Wed 5 August.

Help us pack Dignity Packs

Can you volunteer your time? Help us pack donated items into dignity packs to support community members in need. This event will include guest speakers from local service providers, with the chance to hear firsthand about local community needs and challenges.
