The Great Meal Appeal

The Great Meal Appeal is St Mary’s House of Welcome’s Homelessness Week campaign, bringing our community together to help ensure no one goes hungry.

Throughout Homelessness Week, the community can get involved by bidding in our online silent auction, buyinga raffle ticket, or simply sharing the campaign with family and friends. Every dollar raised helps provide nutritious meals and practical support for people experiencing homelessness and extreme disadvantage.

For more than 65 years, St Mary’s House of Welcome has welcomed people with dignity, offering meals, showers, clothing, housing support and a place of connection and hope. Today, around 150 people turn to our centre each day for support.

Whether you’re bidding on an auction item, making a gift or helping spread the word, your participation will directly support our Meals Program and ensure our doors remain open for those who need them most.

Together, we can make Homelessness Week a time of action, compassion and community, one meal at a time.
